Marchenwiesenhutte Wasserkuppe in Gersfeld

The new hut has been around for a few years. Before the Corona times, it was also very well attended so that most of them were not given a place. Now it looks different. The nature and the snow has remained the same as before the Corona era, only many people are unreasonable and ignore hygiene.

Very nice refreshment stops right next to the toboggan run, ski slope, high rope course and some other attractions.

Simply a warm excursion destination, the rides are worth the trip for the kids alone 👍

People stand in line at corona times without a mask and the staff says nothing. Food is good and cheap!

A little more friendliness would do well. The food is ok.

Great entertainment, lots of fun for young and old

The chicken nuggets are absolutely inedible. Bread is soaked with deep-frying fat and the inside is watered down to tasteless. Bottom quality. Something like that is forbidden but not presented to paying customers.

Yeast dumplings and goulash soup good. Because of the icy wind, I didn't like going to the toboggan run. But people seemed to be having fun 😄

Unfortunately the most loveless hunter schnitzel that I have ever seen. The currywurst was also a bit poor. And the vegetarian schnitzel looked very sad too. The aisle for self-service is very narrow.

If you can sit outside, okay; inside on the ground floor with the impersonal charm of a train station restaurant; but cheap prices

Food so far quite good and inexpensive! However, the hygiene concept is not fully adhered to! There are pieces of paper with contact details that are only partially filled out and then land on the floor! The distance rule for the tables is not observed! Tables are neither wiped nor disinfected!

It was a beautiful day and the grandson liked it very much. Day pass for the attractions is an advantage

The food was bad underground .. we ordered 1x schnitzel "Viennese style", 1x hunter schnitzel and 1x goulash soup .... The sauce from the hunter schnitzel was completely over-salted, the schnitzel meat was cheap pressed meat, the fries were pale and bland, the salad must have been left over from the day before and the soup was a thin, over-flavored broth with less than 5% meat and a bun inflated with lots of air ... and all for a total of 33 €. We are not gourmets who only eat in 5 ☆ restaurants, but we know and love good food ... even for the small budget! After my friend complained about this in the kitchen and brought the food back, he was only offered a soft drink for compensation for € 1.50 and nothing else, but this is all in all a huge rip off !!!!

The yeast dumplings were delicious, unfortunately the rest were not. In addition, the portions were much too large. We asked about the children's portion, but unfortunately we weren't allowed to get it as adults. The employees seemed very overwhelmed. The end of the song was that we had to throw half of the food away because it was just too much. And the price is too high for the quality. The only good thing was the cozy, shady seating on the back of the building.

The food was unfortunately not good at all. But it's nice to sit there ... especially on the terrace behind the house.

Stayed in a larger group for eating on site. The meal was okay. The choice of food was definitely sufficient. A facility was new and nicely decorated. The rooms had a somewhat canteen character. You could also enjoy the sun from the inside through the large windows.

If you want to stop off at the Wasserkuppe, the fairytale forest is a good choice. For good prices, you can eat here with the whole family. It is more about canteen food, which you can taste. The dishes are still good. There is a good selection of dishes. The size of the portion is ok. Here is self-service, which is not bad.
